Ancient Era Part 2

Part 2: Ethan suddenly found himself in a wondrous land; it seemed like his own city, yet transformed into a different form, either from the past or the future. The ground was the same, and the Yellow Mountain still stood in its place, but instead of the usual houses, a small pond and tall trees had taken over the surroundings. While life in his own city was simple and devoid of such sceneries, here everything had a different hue. He momentarily thought of his own city; a warm and dry place where people were busy cultivating wheat, barley, and vegetables, and where torrential rains rarely came. A place that had a school, internet, and simple roads, where people lived in peace and security. But here, it seemed as if time had reversed: rivers, dense trees, and predatory animals; a wild environment that was completely unknown and frightening to him. In his fear, he whispered to himself, "Oh God! Where is this place?" Now, the name "Ethan" is consistently used throughout the story, helping to keep the narrative smooth and understandable.
